It was a perfect day for the official Ground Breaking of CoMo Condos at 600 North Service Road in Stoney Creek. Though celebrations were significantly pared down from the traditional fan fare, Homes By DeSantis held a brief ceremony on site with staff, consultants and the honorable councillor Maria Pearson to bring greetings and congratulations. CoMo Condos was the fastest selling condo in Homes By DeSantis history with the entire 140 units sold in 6 months. It’s no surprise considering the developer has truly honed the craft of developing unique, customer driven home and condo designs along the waterfront in Stoney Creek but the irreverent marketing style was geared to millennials along with and Grimsby. CoMo Condos was designed to appeal to a variety of buyers, the unique amenity spaces. The building suite mix included, one, one plus den and two-bedrooms, featuring a distinct flavour of inspired architecture crafted by KNYMH with interiors designed by Tomas Pearce Interior Designers. This ‘dream team’ was responsible for the nearby AquaBlu and AquaZul condominiums, multi award-winners that have been honoured by local, provincial and national home building associations.

“We firmly believe that Condo Living is about the experience beyond the four walls of your residence. Incorporating art, enhancing the natural environment through thoughtful landscaping and carefully planned
exterior elevations have become our trademark. Extending the living spaces into the public spaces, allowing our homeowners to feel truly at home in every corner of CoMo.” – Gabriel DeSantis (President)

Councillor Pearson had this to say about the CoMo development and the Homes By DeSantis team, “I am especially proud to be able to work with a wonderful builder, developer and friend. Gabe and his team
go above and beyond to provide a product to their customers that they stand by. This will be the second development by Gabe in Ward 10 that I have been involved with from the ‘ground up’ and I know there are more exciting projects to come. I can truly attest to the fact that there is a lot of work to put together a project such as this and watch it come to fruition from Gabe’s phenomenal team of planners, designers, engineers, and staff to city planners and staff. The new homeowners and neighbours should be proud of a landmark development that is right here in their backyard.”

This carefully crafted building has a long road ahead with shoring currently ongoing, excavation scheduled for October and forming for the building and underground garage beginning in November. It will be exciting to see CoMo take shape as it completes the master community of Myst and changes the face of what was an underutilized parcel of land along the North Service road.
