Continually backing initiatives that uplift women and children in our community, Gillians Place empowers the creation of a stronger, safer, and more inclusive future. In the last 4 years of participating in #WAM, the DeSantis Homes team has raised a total of $281,000.00.
In a riveting display of community support, Desantis Homes hosted its highly anticipated “Walk a Mile in HER Shoes” fundraiser on October 13th, 2023.
This event, which served as the official kickoff, paving the way for a triumphant day at the Pen Centre on October 14th. As the sun shined on a beautiful day in Grimsby, the Desantis Homes team alongside Grimsby councilors and local supporters, slipped on their heels and walked behind Gillian’s Place. The walk culminated in a heartfelt moment as a symbolic giant cheque of $30,000.00 was graciously presented to Gillian’s Place.
